Jan. 19-Heather Guthrie and Frank Hilton spoke to 32 Financial Advisors with the Ameriprise Financial Regional Office on estate planning issues.

Jan-Sept.—Marsha Murray-Lusby will give eight speeches on estate planning in 2007 to the Oregon Federal Executive Board.

Feb. 7- Jack Hoffman spoke to the Oregon Cattleman's Association at their quarterly meeting on Measure 37.

Feb. 9- David Zehntbauer spoke at an "Easements and CCRs" workshop  on Issues Arising from  Uncertainty over Basic Terminology: The difference between easements,  leases, licenses and covenants; sponsored by Law Seminars International.

Feb 19-21.- Elizabeth Howard and Jack Cooper spoke at the Oregon Dairy Farmers convention on Employment Law issues.   Jack Hoffman will make give an update on Measure 37.  Dunn Carney will be a sponsor of the convention.

March 13- Bob Winger spoke to the National Association of Credit Managers (NACM) on Legal Forms of Business.

March 15- Dan Vidas taught a full-day Article 9 course to National Association of Credit Managers (NACM) members.

March 27- Randy Duncan and Jack Cooper will make a presentation on Employment Risks at a Employment Liability Seminar for Dunn Carney, US Bank, AKT and JBL&K Insurance clients.

April 19- Brian Talcott will speak on Obtaining and Avoiding Insurance Coverage for Construction Defect Claims at “The Evolving World of Construction Defects ~ Water Intrusion & Other Calamities Conference.”

April 17-Randy Duncan and Robert Kerr will make a presentation to the Oregon Nurseryman’s Asso. on Business Issues and  Employment Liability Trends and how to avoid them. 

May 11- Jack Cooper will make a presentation on Federal Antitrust Laws for the Hardwood Industries Group in Pittsburgh. 

May 15- Dan Drazan will speak at a  legal seminar/workshop for the Oregon Lodging Association and Tri-County Lodging Association.

May 17-18- Dan Vidas will attend the Forest Products Credit Group meeting in Minneapolis and give a presentation on comparison of Bankruptcy in U.S. and Canada.

June 1- David Zehntbauer will speak at a Lorman Seminar on Law of Easements: Legal  Issues and Practical Considerations.

June 21- Ken Antell will speak at the Drafting and Enforcing Commercial Leases seminar in Portland sponsored by Sterling Education Services.

Aug. 2-4 Tom Tongue will be a speaker at the Professional Liability Fund Defense Panel Conference.

August 28- Independent Insurers and Brokers (IIABO) annual convention.  We will provide the legal update for the 3rd year in a row.  Brian Talcott and Jim Hillis will give a legal update presentation to the brokers.

Sept. 6- Randy Duncan will make a presentation on Closely Held Business Issues at the Forum Meeting.  Randy is a guest of client Travis Kindler.

Sept. 25- Gil Parker is speaking at a meeting of real estate professionals (CORE) on the Sale of Large Real Estate Transactions.

Fall-Jack Hoffman will present at the Oregon Dairy Farmers Association Land use workshop and the Oregon Farm Bureau Land Use Workshop.

Oct. 5 – Renee Stineman is presenting at Oregon Law Institute CLE on successful mediation techniques.

Oct. 9- Jim Hillas will be a speaker at a Oregon Entrepreneurs Network Leadership Training Workshop - Avoiding Litigation about employment litigation issues.

Oct. 12- Susan Glen will participate in a Real estate legislative update to the Oregon State Bar Corporate Counsel Section with Steve Janik of Ball Janik, James Schaff of GreenStreet Real Estate Partners LP, and a Nike representative.

Oct. 16-David Rossmiller will participate in the New Appleman's™ Insurance Coverage Teleconference: The Impact of Mass Catastrophes on Insurance Coverage. 

Nov. 2-Bill Joseph will be presenting a review of the 2007 Legislative  Session at the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel Fall Conference.

Dec. 5- Dan Drazan will speak at a Real Estate CLE.
