John H. Chambers, Partner
John joined Dunn Carney in 2000 and is a partner specializing in commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on construction litigation. John also provides general legal advice to construction, real estate and business clients. John's longstanding representation of construction industry clients includes representation of owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in cases ranging from residential lien claims to complex litigation on multi-million dollar construction projects. John’s real estate experience encompasses both commercial and residential issues and includes representation of clients in judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, disputes involving the sale of real property, boundary line disputes, landlord tenant disputes, and specific performance actions. John has an extensive litigation background and has consistently obtained successful results at arbitration and trial. John is also a strong believer in alternative dispute resolution and has often achieved excellent results through the use of mediation in the early stages of litigation. John is the leader of the Construction team at the firm and a member of the Real Estate team.
On a personal level, John enjoys many outdoor and athletic pursuits, including golf, basketball, tennis, camping and running. While at the University of Michigan, John was a multi-year letter winner in track and cross country.
