Kate LaRiche Moore, Associate
Kate's practice focuses on natural resource and environmental law. The primary focus of her practice is in water law, in both transactional matters and litigation. She has represented a broad range of clients including farmers, homeowners associations, nonprofits, and individuals.
Prior to joining Dunn Carney, Kate worked as a contract attorney with the Law Office of Peter Mohr, focusing primarily on water resources matters, and for former U.S. Senator Donald W. Stewart representing a group of plaintiffs in a toxic tort case. She graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School with a Certificate in Natural Resources and Environmental Law, interning in the summers with Mentor Law Group and the Columbia Basin Water Transactions Program managed by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
Before law school Kate worked for a land trust in Colorado’s Eagle River Valley, attempting to achieve a balance between preserving open lands for agriculture, wildlife and scenic beauty and development. Kate received her B.A. from Middlebury College in Vermont, majoring in Environmental Studies.
In her free time, Kate enjoys taking photographs, hiking, skiing, and cycling in Oregon’s many beautiful areas.
