John R. Barhoum, Associate

John started at Dunn Carney as an associate in 2006 focusing on business and commercial litigation, products liability, and insurance coverage litigation.   Prior to joining the firm, John was a law clerk in the Department of Justice, a summer associate at Miller Nash, and a litigation associate at Lane Powell.

John was born and raised in Portland and went to Lewis & Clark College for his undergraduate and law degrees.  He was a member of the Small Business Journal at Lewis & Clark Law School and was ranked #1 in his class in 2001-2003, earning the West Group Award for outstanding scholastic achievement.

John enjoys sports, coaching youth basketball, and spending time with his family and friends.
