Matthew R. Wilmot, Associate

 

Matt Wilmot is an intellectual property attorney specializing in trademark, trade dress, unfair competition, trade secret, copyright, domain name issues, and litigation of complex intellectual property matters. His practice focuses on searching and clearing trademarks, prosecuting domestic and international trademark applications, development and maintenance of trademark portfolios, intellectual property licensing and agreements, copyright and trademark counseling, and enforcement of intellectual property rights.  He advises companies in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction and design, hospitality, entertainment, high-tech, and services industry.  Matt also focuses his practice on general business and commercial litigation. 

Matt is a member of the Intellectual Property and Business Litigation sections of the Oregon State Bar.  Outside of the office, Matt enjoys traveling and has traveled to four different continents.  He is an avid runner and outdoorsman, and enjoys reading historical non-fiction.  While in college, he was a three-year letter winner as a member of the football team.
