Elizabeth E. Howard, Partner

 

Elizabeth E. Howard is a partner at Dunn Carney, where her practice focuses on water law, environmental and natural resources law, and agricultural law.  She represents her clients in transactions, in court, in negotiations with administrative agencies, and in administrative proceedings at the state and federal level.

 

Prior to obtaining a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College, Elizabeth graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics from Oregon State University.

 

Elizabeth was admitted to the Oregon Bar in 2001, and to the North Dakota Bar in 2002.  She is admitted to practice in the federal U.S. District Court of Oregon, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. 
 
She also serves as a board member of the Western Resources Legal Clinic, is chair of the Agriculture Section of the Oregon State Bar, speaks at community and agriculture organizational meetings, and helps other legal professionals learn about important natural resource issues through continuing legal education seminars.  She is also involved in the Oregon Women in Agriculture, the Multnomah County Bar, and is a leader in her local church.
